Master Andrew Walsh is the Head Instructor of Sydney for Walsh Martial Arts Australia.


Master Walsh commenced martial arts training in November 1985 under the instruction of his father, Grandmaster Terence Walsh. He was graded Black Belt by the age of nine and began teaching martial arts to the public when he was 15. Before his 18th birthday, Mr Walsh was the Black Belt Open division sparring and forms champion of the United Tae Kwon Do Federation of Australia.


Currently, Master Walsh holds a 5th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 5th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido from the World Kido Federation. Master Walsh edited and produced the Tae Kwon Do textbook, 'Mastering Tae Geuk' and has written a number of articles on martial arts technique and philosophy which have appeared in Blitz Martial Arts magazine and Australian Taekwondo magazine.


In 2004, Master Walsh spent 8 months in Seoul, South Korea, where he undertook advanced Hapkido training under master instructors of the Korea Hapkido Federation.


Master Walsh also holds a First Class Honours degree in Law, a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and a member of the NSW Law Society.
